Those who prefer organic dining have reason to be excited. The grand opening of Food & Thought 2 brought a new option to North Naples. Rather than offer a limited menu or limited hours, Food & Thought 2 is serving a fully organic menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. In addition, it has a full bar with live entertainment.
Militantly Organic
The sister establishment, Food and Thought, has used the phrase “Militantly organic, so you can shop in peace” for many years. That DNA has carried over to Food & Thought 2, but now it adds being able to dine and drink in peace.
Ingredients Are Important
We use the best organic ingredients we can find. When possible, those ingredients come from our local own local farms right here in Southwest Florida. If we have to use other suppliers, they first go through a thorough vetting process. It is important to us that we serve only the best ingredients we can find because we know it is important to you. You can be assured that the same high standards are maintained, no matter who the source ends up being.

Executive Chef Dan Kniola, formerly of the Players Club & Spa in Lely Resort, leads our Food & Thought 2 culinary team. Chef Dan used his extensive knowledge of the Naples area to assemble an amazing team of chefs. They have created a menu of made-from-scratch, high-end dishes that will win over the most discerning of diners. Like the original Food & Thought, the new location will also have an organic market and general store. You will be able to buy many of the same ingredients used in our own kitchen to take home to yours. Additionally, you’ll be able to expand your organic lifestyle. Watch for the opening in late summer or early fall of 2022.
